Arrive at the Cherry Court and it is now your home for the duration of your stay. Relax, feel comfortable whilst you're with us and take a look around at what we have in Victoria :
At Victoria Station, "red" buses, taxies, coaches and the underground system provide London's greatest and busiest intersection of transport. Nearby the National Coach terminal adds to the centralised concentration of travel facilities. As this is the real heart and centre of London, in terms of tourism and travel, the London Tourist board, American Express, Thomas Cook and many rent-a-car firms have offices here.
Our neighbours are West Belgravia leading to Knightsbridge (Harrods department store), Westminster Abbey in the east, Chelsea in the south-west, the River Thames in the south and Buckingham Palace and the many royal parks to the north. To the south-west Ebury village is home to one of London's most famous antique streets (Pimlico Road).
Victoria Street connects Victoria Station and Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Whitehall (the official residence of the Prime Minister). Buckingham Palace Road links you to the National Coach Station, the London country coaches and the European coaches which go through to Victoria Station, then to Buckingham Palace.
The traffic from the south passing through Vauxhall Bridge, to Belgrave Road, to Victoria Station, is on the major inner London Ring Road, on its way to the West End and many major motorways. |
