Heathrow Airport

The London Underground – runs every day and reaches all parts of London. Each tube line has a name and has been given a distinctive colour. The underground is separated into six zones with central London including Victoria in zone one. Trains run roughly every three to nine minutes and it takes about 45-60 minutes to get from Heathrow to Victoria, and is the easiest and most cost effective way to reach Victoria. From Heathrow take the Piccadilly line (navy blue) to Hammersmith. We recommend you to get off at Hammersmith because other stations get too crowded. At Hammersmith directly cross the platform and catch the District line (green) heading East towards Victoria (sixth stop). When you reach Victoria come out into the main train station (there are multiple lifts to take bring you up from platform level to street level). Head towards Platform 1 of the National Rail station and take the exit towards Hudson’s Place. Turn right out of this exit and walk up the road. You will pass the Double Tree Hilton on your left. Our street will be in front of you (with the St George’s Tavern pub on the right). We are a very short way down on the left (passing the Blue Cross Animal Hospital). See map below and click on the highlighted directions.

By coach – see National Express website. Coaches run daily at regular intervals from Heathrow to Victoria. From Victoria Coach Station find your way to the main front entrance (you will see an Italian restaurant called Sicily and this should be on your left). You will be at the cross-roads of Buckingham Palace Road and Elizabeth Street. Walk straight over onto Elizabeth Bridge. Our street is the second left. We are half way down on the right.

By Road – If you have hired a car from the airport, first get onto the M4 motorway (highway) and follow the signs toward central London until the M4 terminates. Then follow the A4 over the Hammersmith flyover. This then changes into the Cromwell Road, and then into the Brompton Road, where you will be able to see Harrods department store on your right. You will then approach the Hyde Park Corner roundabout. Take the fourth exit and go onto Grosvenor Place (you are now near Victoria Station)- Buckingham Palace is on your left. You have now entered a one-way system. Turn right onto Buckingham Palace Road, follow the road until you see Victoria coach station on your right and turn left on Elizabeth Bridge. Our street – Hugh Street – is the second on the left. Please note there are no parking facilities and there is no on street parking. There is a nearby car park. If you hire a taxi, it would cost around £80-£120 from Heathrow to Cherry Court Hotel.

By Train – The Heathrow Express is a train service from Heathrow Terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5 to Paddington. It takes under 30mins. From Paddington you can take the Underground via the circle line (yellow) to Victoria. For more information see www.heathrowexpress.com.

If it is not in service, you can still take a train to Victoria (it will not be non-stop but it is direct). Once in the arrivals hall follow the sign to Trains. Tickets are available before you board. You can also buy tickets before you arrive online. See www.southernrailway.com/journey/gatwick-airport-to-london-victoria for more details. On arrival at London Victoria an escalator between platforms 13 and 14 will take you from the platform directly to the taxi rank and pick-up point.
